Inside Self-Storage Announces Dates for Virtual Conference and Expo
June 18, 2020
The Inside Self-Storage (ISS) World Expo that was scheduled to take place July 21-24 in Las Vegas was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic and concerns for public safety. Now, brand officials are organizing a superlative virtual experience that will allow self-storage owners, managers, investors and developers to learn and drive success, even as they shelter in place.
The all-new ISS Virtual Event, Sept. 29-30, is an online conference and tradeshow that will educate and connect industry professionals, providing the resources they need to thrive in this difficult time. Free for all attendees, it will offer education, exhibits and networking opportunities, just like a live show. Attendees will have access to:
A virtual theater offering a full slate of education sessions, including a keynote address, a panel focused on COVID-19 business strategies, seminars in a wide range of topics, and several open-forum Q&A discussions
An exhibit hall featuring two dozen of the industry’s top product and service suppliers
A new-product tour highlighting recent and popular industry innovations
A resource center containing downloadable information materials ranging from articles to case studies to digital issues and more
A networking lounge
An online store
A help desk
And more
Registered attendees will be able to move freely through the environment, which can be accessed from any Internet-connected device. The education program will include a mix of live and pre-recorded sessions. Any live sessions will be captured for on-demand viewing later in the event, allowing for complete schedule flexibility. Participants will also have a personal briefcase in which they can store materials that are downloaded from exhibitor booths, the new-product tour and the resource center. Multiple chat features will provide interaction between attendees, exhibitors and presenters.
Several levels of sponsorship/exhibit opportunities are available. Interested parties should reach out to ISS Business Development Manager Debbie Pirkey.
More details will be unveiled in coming weeks at issworldexpo.com/virtual. Registration will open in late August.
