StoreEase Launches Virtual-Technology Platform as Part of Self-Storage Management Offering

Self-storage operator StoreEase Inc. has launched a virtual-technology platform as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) to complement its third-party management offerings. The white-label SaaS includes proprietary hardware and software, and is designed to help operators of all sizes improve traditional and remote-management models, according to a press release.

Central to the platform is an omnichannel feature intended to capture every customer interaction. It includes a patented alert system to help operators manage communication via call center, text and website, the release stated.

In addition, a patent-pending software helps users assign prospects to facility managers based on skill level. “The software allows for personality traits and performance to be measured and weighted, enabling operators to strategically move their best managers around virtually to the property level to complete specific tasks,” according to the release. The technology is also devised to allow one manager to cover a portfolio of sites.

“To outperform, we believe every property needs an excellent facility manager on site,” said Josh Boyd, CEO. “StoreEase’s virtual technology simply reproduces that industry standard in a cost-effective, virtual form.”

The SaaS is also designed to integrate with existing property-management software programs. It includes live data-tracking and reporting tools to support business decision-making and identify areas for manager training, retention and improvement, the release stated.

“So many owners and operators who want to manage themselves are struggling with tight labor markets and the challenges that come with traditional operating models,” Boyd said. “This leads to limited efficiency and scale. Our alignment with these groups is not only about cutting expenses but positioning their best managers in the right place at the right time to create an elite customer experience that tenants deserve.”

Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, StoreEase acquires, develops and oversees self-storage facilities. It manages more than 30 properties across 14 states. Its virtual-management platform offers tools to automate operations including 2 Minute Move-In, DemoSuites, Smart Environment, Virtual Assistant, Virtual Counter, Virtual Manager and Virtual Terminals.
