Self-Storage Security Provider PTI Launches ProEdge Smart Latch

PTI Security Systems, a provider of access-control technologies for the self-storage industry, has launched ProEdge Smart Latch, a new door lock that integrates with the company’s StorLogix Cloud. Available in March, the product offers real-time access data, security monitoring and overlock capability, according to a press release.

The universal smart latch is suitable for new and existing doors, corrugated and flat. It has a tamper-resistant design with an accelerometer that alerts operators and tenants of interference. The hardware is inaccessible from the outside and has a three-year battery life, the release stated.

PTI manufactures technology-enabled security solutions. Its product line includes access-control hardware and software, wired and wireless door alarms, and mobile-access solutions.
