Self-Storage Security Firm StorageDefender Names Vice President of Operations

StorageDefender Inc., a provider of unit-monitoring technology for the self-storage industry, named Chad Cable as vice president of operations. He’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site functions, monitoring field quality, and spearheading the development and implementation of strategies to enhance overall efficiency and enable company growth, according to a press release.

Cable has more than 25 years of experience in information technology (IT). He previously served as technical operations senior director for StackPath, and director of global infrastructure and automation services for CompuCom, the release stated.

“As we continue to rapidly grow, we are thrilled to welcome Chad to our leadership team,” said StorageDefender CEO Mark Cieri. “Given Chad’s extensive experience in scaling up large multi-national IT companies and delivering world-class enterprise quality and process, we are confident that his expertise will further cement StorageDefender's ongoing progress and success.”

Launched in 2018 and based in Denton, Texas, StorageDefender offers a subscription-based, unit-monitoring service built on an Internet of Things platform. It provides reporting and notification capabilities.
