Self-Storage Building Supplier MakoRabco Launches Safety Division

MakoRabco, a nationwide supplier of buildings and construction-related services for the self-storage and boat/RV-storage industries, has established a new safety division to keep pace with the evolving needs of clients. It’ll be led by Dawn Doyle, director of risk management and culture, who’s been with the company since 2019, according to a press release.

The new division will focus on three areas:

  • Best practices and protocols, including training and certifications for company staff

  • “Toolbox Talks,” delivered in English and Spanish, to address critical safety topics with team members and subcontractors

  • Onsite safety experts for each project, to ensure the site complies with all set standards

“We are taking these steps not just because we have to, but because we believe in them,” the release stated. “You can't put a price on the assurance that comes with top-tier safety standards. But you can certainly measure the cost of settling for less.”

MakoRabco specializes in building design, supply and installation. The company formed in March 2022 when Mako Steel Inc., founded in 1993, and Rabco Enterprises, founded in 1988, joined forces. It now operates from offices in Carlsbad, California, and Winter Garden, Florida.
