Citizen Storage Management Launches Internal Self-Storage Call Center

Citizen Storage Management, a self-storage development and third-party management firm, has launched an internal call center powered by software from CallPotential, a provider of lead-management and communications technology for the self-storage industry. The move is part of Citizen’s ongoing effort to streamline and improve customer engagement, according to a press release, and will bring the company’s sales and customer-service operations in-house.

Call-center agents will answer customer questions, provide information and rent units over the phone, with a goal to reduce response and hold times as well as increase issue-resolution rates. “We are excited to introduce our internal call center, as it allows us to further enhance our customer-centric approach,” said Peter Spickenagel, CEO of Citizen. “By directly in-housing our core competency, sales and customer service, we can provide our customers with a more personalized and efficient experience. This initiative aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional service and build lasting relationships.”

CallPotential’s CRM (customer-relationship management) platform integrates with self-storage facility-management software. It organizes and automates the lead- and collection-management processes using omnichannel communication tools such as text messaging, email, live and recorded calls, and live chat.
