Moove In Self Storage Parent Company IREGC Announces New Hires

The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), which specializes in self-storage brokerage, construction and management and operates the Moove In Self Storage brand, hired three people. Brian Davis and Victoria Myers joined the Investment Real Estate Construction (IREC) division, while Shaun Lewy will work for Moove In.

In his role as vice president of development and construction, Davis will lead IREC. He’ll also serve on the IREGC leadership team to set organization-wide goals and guide strategic planning.

Davis has more than 20 years of construction and facilities-maintenance experience. Most recently, he served as senior project manager for FCL Builders, where he oversaw large-scale construction projects including cold-storage facilities, distribution centers and warehouses in the Northeast. Prior to that, he was senior facilities manager with self-storage real estate investment trust Extra Space Storage Inc. in the mid-Atlantic.

“I am confident that with Brian’s proven experience and leadership skills, he will lead and continue to grow the IREC company in concert with IREGC’s planned growth,” said Chris Riley, president and chief operating officer for IREGC.

Myers will be an accounting manager, responsible for managing the IREC accounting team, heading up department deadlines, processing payroll and monthly financial reporting. She has more than 15 years of accounting experience, most recently as controller for Rylind Construction Co. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania Western University.

“Victoria brings a unique, high-level of construction expertise to the accounting team, which will allow her to collaborate with the vice president of construction on reporting and budgets for IREC,” said IREGC controller Jessica Lacklin.

As vice president of operations, Lewy will provide oversight for Moove In’s 60-plus properties. He’ll oversee employees and new acquisitions, and implement new processes and tools. Prior to joining the company, Lewy led operations for ezStorage and Snapbox Storage.

“Shaun’s over 10 years of experience and passion for the storage industry will help us continue to grow the Moove In Self Storage brand,” Riley said.

Founded in 1998, IREGC also includes Investment Real Estate (IRE), a provider of brokerage, construction, development and management services to self-storage owners and investors.

Moove In operates more than 60 facilities in Connecticut, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
