Arsonist Sets Fire to Baton Rouge, LA, Self-Storage Facility

Investigators believe an April 4 fire at ClimaStor Self Storage in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was likely caused by an arsonist. Fire crews were called to 7355 Perkins Road just after 5 p.m., according to the source.

When they arrived, they discovered a burning pallet behind the building. The flames had already spread to the wall, but crews were able to extinguish them before they reached the interior.

During their investigation, officials discovered fires had been ignited in multiple locations, leading them to believe they were caused by an arsonist. A suspect hasn’t been identified.

ClimaStor operates five self-storage facilities in Baton Rouge, Walker and West Monroe, Louisiana. The company is locally owned and operated.
