AG Self Storage to Open in Johnson, VT

AG Self Storage LLC is nearing completion on a new facility in Johnson, Vt. The property at 1015 Route 15 is expected to open this month. The site is bordered by perimeter fencing, including an ornamental section along Route 15 for aesthetics. It also has gated, keycode access and 30 high-resolution cameras for additional security, according to the source.

The facility is being built without any units facing the road. The company intends to work with the Johnson Beautification Committee to paint murals on up to two of the building ends that face the public to reflect the character of the community, the source reported.

Based in Charlotte, Vt., AG Self Storage is also developing a facility in St. Johnsbury, Vt. The company recently withdrew a zoning-permit application for a proposed 18,650-square-foot facility in Wallingford, Vt., after facing heated opposition from residents.
