World Class Capital Group Acquires 3-Property Self-Storage Portfolio in Denver Area

World Class Capital Group LLC (WCCG), which operates the Great Value Storage brand, has acquired a three-property self-storage portfolio in the Denver area that formerly operated as Bargain Storage. The facilities comprise more than 103,060 square feet of storage space and include land for expansion, according to a press release.

WCCG plans to renovate and rebrand the properties immediately. It will also expand them in the future, the release stated. 

“We are pleased to expand our Great Value Storage footprint into the Denver market with the acquisition of this initial three-property portfolio,” said Nate Paul, CEO and president. “We plan to grow our self-storage portfolio throughout the state of Colorado with additional acquisitions and ground-up development.”

The real estate firm is also expanding its self-storage presence in Texas. Earlier this year, it purchased land for a new development as well as two existing storage properties.

WCCG is a national real estate investment firm focused on acquiring, developing and managing real estate. Its portfolio includes investments in industrial, land, multi-family, office, retail and self-storage properties. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, WCCG has offices in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York City.

Great Value Storage, a privately owned self-storage company, operates 69 self-storage facilities in 11 states totaling 4.8 million square feet of rentable space in 34,000 units.

Headquartered in Portland, Ore., Bargain Storage owns 25 storage properties in Arizona, Colorado and Texas.
