Stock N Lock Self Storage in Worcester, England, has donated £3,000 to Acorns Children’s Hospice, which provides care and support to life-limited or life-threatened children and their families living in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Counties. Ryan Kemili, business manager, and Robert Tonks, assistant business manager, for Stor N Lock presented the donation to Helen Dowdeswell, Acorns’ major donor manager.

Acorns will use the money to update its outdoor play, known as the Caribbean Garden, at its hospice center on Bath Road in Worcester, according to the source. The funds will also help the organization update other areas of the hospice gardens, which are undergoing refurbishment. A new play surface featuring a racetrack design has been recently been added to the area, and new shrubs and plants will soon be planted.

“The outdoor space at the hospice is a really important part of the care we provide, so we’re very grateful for this donation and the continued support of Stock N Lock,” Dowdeswell said.

Stock N Lock is in the Venture Business Park off of Weir Lane. The facility comprises 44,000 square feet of storage space in 680 units, which are individually alarmed and monitored with closed-circuit television, according to the company website. Additional offerings include electricity in some units, forklift services, package acceptance and delivery, and WiFi. The facility also offers records storage and outdoor vehicle storage.
