Devon Self Storage Acquires Camp Bowie Self Storage in Fort Worth, TX

Devon Self Storage, which owns or manages 46 facilities nationwide, has acquired Camp Bowie Self Storage in Fort Worth, Texas. The property at 6471 Camp Bowie Blvd. comprises 61,730 square feet in 545 units. Devon intends to expand the facility to 73,710 net rentable square feet, according to a press release.

The asset is in a growing suburb, with 84,374 residents within a three-mile radius of the property. Average household income in the area is more than $65,000 per year, the release stated.

Founded in 1988, Devon Self Storage operates facilities in 16 states, managing more than 3.3 million square feet of storage space and serving 21,750 tenants. Based in Emeryville, Calif., it employs more than 100 people. The company ranked No. 34 on the 2015 Inside Self-Storage Top-Operators List.
