StorageMart Purchases Concord Self-Storage in Ontario, Canada

StorageMart, a Columbia, Mo.-based self-storage operator with more than 172 facilities in Canada and the United States, has acquired Concord Self Storage in Concord, Ontario, Canada. The two-story property at 9000 Keele St. is the company’s 36th facility in the province. It comprises more than 24,000 square feet of storage space in 229 units.

"We are excited by the opportunity to serve our local clients by providing three properties to choose from in the Concord area,” said Victor McCormack, regional manager. “Nearby stores in Woodbridge and Maple are also located on major thoroughfares, making us easy to find, easy to reach and easy to do business with on a daily basis.”

The acquisition is StorageMart’s second in just three weeks. The company also purchased A Storage Inn in Fort Myers, Fla., in an off-market transaction. Its officials attribute its recent growth to customer satisfaction, according to a press release.

“Easy, clean, service—these are the words that we live up to every day,” said Cris Burnam, president. “We want every customer to enjoy the benefits of self-storage with us.”

Founded in 1999, StorageMart serves more than 75,000 self-storage customers. The company operates in Chinese, English, Punjabi, Quebecois French and Spanish.
