Casey Storage Solutions Opens New Self-Storage Facility in New Haven, CT

PhilMor Real Estate Investments LLC, which operates the Casey Storage Solutions brand, has opened a newly built self-storage facility in New Haven, Conn. The property at 450 Putnam Ave. will be managed by Casey Property Management LLC (CPM), which also operates facilities at 10 Hillside Ave. in Cromwell, Conn., and 785 Sherman Road in Hamden, Conn. Construction of the 65,000-square-foot facility was completed in December.

"Our self-storage property was designed to meet the highest expectations of our customers," said Morgan Hanlon, co-founder and co-managing member of PhilMor and founder of CPM. "We offer exterior and interior units that provide customers drive-up storage units or direct access to interior, temperature-controlled units. We also offer conveniences such as moving trucks and boxes. Video-surveillance equipment and an electronic, coded gate provide enhanced security."

Construction services and project management were provided by Borghesi Building & Engineering Co. Inc. of Torrington, Conn. Frank Quigley of FD Quigley & Associates provided owner's representation services. Financing was obtained from Webster Five Bank of Auburn, Mass.

Casey Storage Solutions operates 13 properties in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. It operates more than 740,000 square feet of storage space and 5,850 units.
