Colliers International Acquires Self-Storage Brokerage CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners

Global commercial real estate services firm Colliers International has acquired CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners LLC, a Dallas-based company offering specialized services in self-storage as well as corporate relocations, health care and law firms. Its service slate includes leasing, property management and sales. The company will be rebranded under the Colliers name, according to a press release.

"One of our key priorities is to expand our business in major metropolitan markets like the Dallas/Fort Worth area," said Craig Robinson, president of Colliers International USA. "Gaining an experienced, deep, and enterprising team of 50 professionals will not only strengthen our operations but expand our business nationally in the areas of medical office, retail and private-investment sales."

The acquisition will increase Colliers’ business presence in North Texas to 182 professionals, including 79 advisers whose expertise is in brokerage, leasing, property management, real estate, strategic planning and tenant representation. The firm also provides advisory services for development and real estate investment, according to the release.

"Over the years, we have been approached by most of the national/global brokerage firms in the U.S., but it wasn't until learning of Colliers International's unique culture and commitment to being the best real estate company, coupled with this exciting inflection point in time of Colliers dynamic growth, did the fit seem right," said John Conger, a principal at CASE.

Founded in 1986, CASE operated brokerage offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. Last fall, the company rebranded its self-storage brokerage service under the name CASE Self-Storage Advisory. The storage division represents buyers and sellers, as well as provides property-management and financial-advisory services. It’s affiliated with the Argus Self-Storage Sales Network, a nationwide network of independent brokers specializing in self-storage.

Colliers employs more than 16,300 professionals operating out of 502 offices in 67 countries. A subsidiary of FirstService Corp., it’s been ranked in the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals' Global Outsourcing 100 for 10 consecutive years, according to the release.
