A man was found shot to death this week at a self-storage facility in Reading, Pa. Yamil Lozada-Acasio, 36, was shot multiple times. His body was discovered near the back of the facility next to a storage unit by someone walking past the property. The Berk County coroner’s office has ruled the death a homicide. Police do not have any suspects.

Lozada-Acasio did odd jobs on the premises of the storage property for customers, such as watch their cars and valuables for tips, according to Sgt. John M. Solecki of the Reading Police Department. The man reportedly lived near the storage property and was at the facility on Wednesday doing odd jobs when he was shot several times.

"It appears the shooter walked up and was face to face with the victim when he shot him and continued shooting him at close range," Solecki said.

Investigators found 15 shell casings from a semi-automatic weapon lying on the ground near Lozada-Acasio’s body.

Investigators are encouraging anyone with information regarding the case to call Crime Alert Berks County at 877.373.9913. A cash reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
