Sum Effect Investments, a commercial real state investor based in Murfreesboro, Tenn., has acquired All in One Storage in Dyersburg, Tenn. Located at 2797 US Hwy 51 S, the facility will be rebranded as Dyersburg Self Storage. The sellers are based in California.
Situated on 2.6 acres of land, the self-storage facility contains more than 26,000 rentable square feet in 169 drive-up units and 54 temperature-controlled units. Located adjacent to Highway 51, the facility also serves as a U-Haul dealer.
All in One Storage has operated at more 90 percent occupancy for the past three years. Sum Effect Investments intends build an additional climate-controlled 9,000-square-foot building on the property and add new amenities and upgrades, according to a press release.
Sum Effect Investments was formed in 2008 by Matt DeLong, president and CEO, and Beverly DeLong, who serves as fellow principle, executive vice president and treasurer. Over the past several years, the company has transitioned from buying single-family homes and small rental properties to focusing on multi-family properties, offices, small retail centers and self-storage facilities.
