Self-Storage Developer SBS Begins Construction on San Antonio Facility
SBS Construction has begun work on its latest project: Taft Self Storage, which will span roughly 78,000 square feet at 11707 Culebra Road on the west side of San Antonio. The facility is scheduled to be completed during the fourth quarter of this year, and Taft Storage LP will own the property.

SBS Construction has begun work on its latest project: Taft Self Storage, which will span roughly 78,000 square feet at 11707 Culebra Road on the west side of San Antonio. The facility is scheduled to be completed during the fourth quarter of this year, and Taft Storage LP will own the property.
The 524 units will consist of a mix of climate-controlled and traditional storage space.
Based on Boerne, Texas, SBS Construction is a regional construction-management and design-build firm. The company is also managing the construction of Stone Oak Storage on the far north side of San Antonio. Past projects by SBS include The Storage Center in Baton Rouge, La., a Public Storage facility in Houston, and Central Self Storage in Kingwood, Texas.
