Stor-Guard LLC has been appointed the U.S. and Canadian exclusive distributor of AccessEzy, a digital access-control and security system from Australia.

Developed by Centreforce Technology, AccessEzy security systems have been installed in hundreds of self-storage facilities around Australia and New Zealand. Industry veteran John Wollam will represent the company in the U.S. and Canadian markets. “We’re very pleased to have John and his team represent our AccessEzy products,” said Dallas Dogger, managing director of  Centreforce Technology.

Wollam has worked with a number of access-control companies including Mini Storage Alarm and Digitech. He’s been a Digitech dealer for 20 or more years in the Pacific Northwest and has been involved in the engineering design sales and service for more than 1,000 self-storage sites nationwide.

“AccessEzy was an obvious choice for us,” Wollam said. “Dallas has developed a product that is simple and robust, using widely available technology and up to date with Web browser, smartphone and iPhone access. That’s what our market wants—an advanced digital product that’s simple.”

Stor-Guard is working on new technology that will enable self-storage operators to upgrade their Digitech systems, making them digital without having to replace all of the hardware, Wollam said. He and business partner Glen Aronson own SmartLok Inc, which holds several patents for a new wireless product that will be brought to market with Stor-Guard and AccessEzy in 2012.

AccessEzy integrates with SiteLink Web Edition by SMD Software and StorMan records-management software. More brands will be added as the need arises.

“With our manufacturer we are able to make new innovation available quickly and our very first owners of AccessEzy can stay up to date. We regularly review our product line and add to it to deliver the best access controls available,” Dogger said.

Centreforce Technology has been at the forefront of security and software technology in Australia for more than 11 years. The company was appointed the South East Asian representatives for SiteLink Web Edition. AccessEzy has been installed at a number of self-storage sites in Las Vegas, New England and Washington.
