Real estate firm The Hampshire Cos. is preparing to open a new 81,300-square-foot, 600-unit self-storage facility in Hackensack, N.J. Slated to open April 1, Hampshire Self Storage is in the center of the city near Interstate 80 and Routes 46 and 17. The facility offers 15 unit sizes and climate control. It also features an advanced security system including gated entry and digital surveillance cameras.

Bergen Countys rank as one of the most populated counties in New Jersey is what makes this "the ideal area to open an additional self-storage location," said Don Engels, a principal of the company.
