Kliebenstein and LeClaire Release Book on Self-Storage Money-Making Strategies

In today’s down economy, self-storage operators are looking for strategies to generate more revenue, cut expenses and increase equity. Self-storage industry veterans RK Kliebenstein and Jennifer LeClaire have co-authored a new book that will teach them how. How to Make More Money in Self-Storage (H2MMM) is an A-to-Z resource guide for self-storage managers, investors, bankers and anyone else who has interest in the business.

“This book contains some of the secrets I’ve learned over the past 25 years in the self-storage industry,” said Kliebenstein, principal of Coast-To-Coast Storage, a self-storage consultancy in City of Atlantis, Fla.

Kliebenstein is an author and speaker with experience in industry financing, development, acquisition and management. He has underwritten more than $1 billion in self-storage transactions, run more than 1,000 acquisition and development projects, and conducted due diligence on more than 100 million square feet of storage space.

Kliebenstein will also teach a half-day seminar based on information contained in the book at the Inside Self-Storage Expo in Nashville, Tenn. The live version of H2MMM will take place on Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Details can be found at www.insideselfstorageexpo.com/makemoney_seminar.html.

LeClaire is the president and creative director of Self Storage Promotions, a marketing and public-relations firm in Hallandale Beach, Fla. She has served the industry with writing, editing, ghostwriting, public-relations and graphic-design services since 2001. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the American Society of Authors and Journalists and the Web Analytics Association.
