Storage King has paid £2.25 million to purchase a former warehouse in a Newport, Wales, for conversion to self-storage. The 70,000-square-foot, freehold building sits on a 3-acre site. It will be run as a franchise of the Birmingham-based self-storage business, which has more than 40 sites across England and Wales. Info: www.storageking.co.uk
