The Insomniac self-storage kiosk produced by OpenTech Alliance Inc. received the 2007 Innovation Award from the Self Storage Association of Australasia (SSAA). The award is designed to recognize advancements that benefit the Australasian storage industry or its customers. The Insomniac kiosk, which helps reduce staffing costs while providing convenience for customers, won the award for both. Mike Connolly, OpenTech’s executive vice president of corporate development, accepted the award at SSAA’s recent convention at Hamilton Island.
