New members have been accepted into the Digitech International Self-Storage Software Connection, an alliance of industry software suppliers whose products include a reliable, two-way interface with Digitech’s security solutions. The additions are Phoenix-based eMove, publisher of WebSelfStorage software, and StorMan, with offices in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

“[Self-storage] owners expect us to provide a seamless interface between our access-control and alarm software and the management software they use for day-to-day financial data and operations,” said Jon Loftin, vice president and systems engineer for Digitech. “We have worked hard to provide a cross-program data communication that is effective and reliable.” The partnership ensures a facility’s management and security software programs “talk to each other” transparently, reducing an operator’s workload.

The Self-Storage Management Software Partners include some of the most popular brand names in the industry: RentPlus (Hi-Tech Software), Storage Management System (Syrasoft), SiteLink (SMD Software Inc.), Store  (Centershift), DOMICO 2005 (DOMICO), Storage Commander (Empower Software Technologies), and Nx.Gen (Space Control).

Digitech provides has provided security tools for self-storage for more than 25 years. Products include access-control systems, wireless door alarms, video recording systems and more. For information, call 800.523.9504; visit www.software4storage.com.
