ISS Releases Slideshow on Self-Storage Customer Service

Inside Self-Storage (ISS) has released a new online slideshow to help facility operators improve their customer service. “A Focus on Customer Care: Elevating Your Self-Storage Service from Average to Astonishing” includes do’s and don’ts, examples of useful service-related communication, “magic” words that will entice prospects to become tenants, and more.

The presentation is based on contributions from industry author Marc Goodin, who is also president of Storage Authority Franchising, a U.S. franchise opportunity for the self-storage industry. Goodin designed and permitted his first self-storage facility more than 25 years ago as a young civil engineer. Since then, he’s successfully designed facilities and provided consulting for hundreds of self-storage owners. He is also the author of books on industry development and marketing, which are sold through the Inside Self-Storage Store

The slideshow is available for viewing and free download at insideselfstorage.com. To access the file, Web visitors should choose “Slideshows” in the Resource Center drop-down menu on the top navigation bar. Additional slideshows are also available on the same page.

For more than 25 years, ISS has provided informational resources for the self-storage industry. Its educational offerings include ISS magazine, the annual ISS World Expo, an extensive website, the ISS Store, and Self-Storage Talk, the industry’s largest online community.
