Drive-Up Storage Names Executive Vice President of Self-Storage to Expand Property-Management Division

Drive-Up Storage, which operates six facilities in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, hired Robbie Smith as executive vice president of self-storage. He’ll spearhead the company’s efforts to expand its property-management division, manage employees, and oversee the portfolio’s day-to-day operation, according to a press release.

Smith has more than 20 years of experience in customer service and client-facing roles. Most recently, he was director of special accounts for Storage Asset Management, a self-storage management company based in York, Pennsylvania.

“We are thrilled to have Robbie Smith join our team as the executive vice president [of] self-storage,” said Chris Spagnuolo, executive vice president of property management. “His extensive experience and proven track record in the self-storage industry make him the perfect fit for our company as we continue to grow and expand our property-management division. Drive-Up has facilities in Naugatuck and North Haven, Connecticut; Kearny, Ringoes and Sparta, New Jersey; and New Rochelle, New York.
