My Neighborhood Storage Center (MNSC), a self-storage operator with 10 Florida locations, is expanding its facility in Lake Mary, Fla. Two climate-controlled buildings, each containing 96 units, will be added to the property at 610 Rinehart Road. The units will range in size from 10-by-10 to 10-by-30.

Once the addition is complete, the facility will encompass 164,484 rentable square feet of storage space. The property currently has more than 700 tenants, according to an MNSC press release.

Adam Mikkelson, vice president of Liberty Investment Properties Inc., which manages the MNSC portfolio, said the new buildings will help the company capitalize on the facility’s prime location. Lake Mary is approximately 18 miles north of Orlando, Fla., off Interstate 4. It’s considered one of the fastest growing areas in Central Florida.

“Our facilities in Lake Mary have enjoyed a long relationship with the community,” Mikkelson said. “We are pleased to provide new climate-controlled space to meet the growing demand in the market.”

The new buildings are expected to open this month. MNSC is accepting reservations, and a grand opening that will provide food, drinks and giveaways is slated for early March. The event will coincide with the company’s customer-appreciation week.

MNSC has locations in Apopka, Clermont, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Longwood, Orlando, Oviedo and South Daytona.

Based in Maitland, Fla., Liberty Investment Properties focuses on income-producing assets and related equity and debt investments on behalf of individual and institutional investors. It also manages five Discount Self Storage properties in Clermont and Oviedo, Fla.
