Apple Self Storage of Canada Aims to Raise $6K for ABLE Network Charity

Apple Self Storage of Canada will donate $5 to charity from every move-in it receives now through Nov. 30 at all 15 of its facilities. The fundraiser will benefit the ABLE (Access to Better Living and Employment) Network, a nonprofit that offers support services to young adults with intellectual disabilities. Apple has set a donation goal of $6,000.

The company has previously worked with ABLE by hiring a 22-year-old worker at its corporate office who received workplace training through the organization. Network participants learn workplace skills, enjoy recreation opportunities, and receive literacy support and transit-system training.

As a frequent partner of local charities and support groups, Apple Self Storage recognizes the importance of responsible corporate citizenship, and uses its unique position to help bridge the funding gaps experienced by many nonprofit bodies, company officials said in a press release.

Apples 15 self-storage facilities are located throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario, Canada.
