Vaultra Storage, which operates more than 20 self-storage facilities in Canada, will kick off its “Sleigh the Clutter” charity campaign on Dec. 15 at its location in Hamilton, Ontario. Household essentials, furniture and other items donated by the community will be collected on site at 274 Sherman Ave.

The campaign will benefit Habitat for Humanity and its ReStore retail program through which local chapters operate independently owned reuse outlets. The shops sell reusable household goods and building materials at discount prices, preventing them from ending up in landfills. “Sales of donated items help Habitat for Humanity partner with local families to build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes,” according to the organization’s website.

“We’re on a mission to transform lives and create brighter futures for those in need,” Vaultra Storage officials told a source. “Imagine a self-storage unit filled to the brim with items that could really impact a family’s life with household essentials, gently used furniture and more.”

Vaultra’s portfolio of owned and managed self-storage facilities spans Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. It offers traditional and valet-style storage services.
