Self-Storage Firm IREGC CEO John Gilliland Honored With Vistage 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award

John Gilliland, CEO of self-storage firm The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), has received the “2024 Lifetime Achievement Award” from Vistage, a global CEO coaching and peer-advisory organization. It honors long-standing members with a track record of bold decisions benefiting the company, community and beyond, according to a press release.

Gilliland has propelled the growth of IREGC to more than 100 employees in his various companies that specialize in self-storage acquisitions, construction, development, insurance and property management. He was inducted into the inaugural class of the Pennsylvania Self Storage Hall of Fame in 2018 and the national Self Storage Association Hall of Fame in 2020.

Throughout his career, Gilliland has made philanthropic contributions supporting the greater York, Pennsylvania, community through the Gilliland Family Foundation. He also supports his wife’s charitable organization, Pink Power, which raises money for local breast-cancer patients.

Founded in 1998, IREGC develops, builds, acquires and operates more than 80 facilities across New England and the mid-Atlantic.
