Self-Storage Developer Boardwalk Makes List of Atlanta's ‘Best Places to Work’

Boardwalk Development Group LLC (BDG), an acquisition, development and investment firm that specializes in self-storage and boat/RV storage in the Southeast, was named among the “Best Places to Work” by the “Atlanta Business Chronicle,” a weekly newspaper. The list represents companies in the metro-Atlanta area.

The results are based on a confidential survey conducted by Quantum Workplace that measures key areas of an organization’s culture. Employees answer 30 questions on a variety of topics including compensation and benefits, trust in senior leadership, level of employee engagement, and more. Number of participants is weighed against individual responses to determine each company's overall score and ranking, according to the Quantum website.

This year’s campaign received nearly 270 nominations. The top-scoring companies were honored at an Aug. 31 event and featured in a special section of “Atlanta Business Chronicle.”

Founded in Atlanta in 2016 by Rajen J. Sheth, BDG has experienced more than 700% growth since 2019, according to a press release. The company has acquired or built more than $500 million in self-storage and boat/RV-storage assets.
