Trachte Building Systems now offers portable-storage containers for use by self-storage operators. They come in 5- or 12-foot lengths, with a 16-foot version available this fall. They are 7 feet, 5 inches wide and can be moved using either a standard rollback truck or truck-mounted forklift and flatbed. The containers feature a sturdy steel frame with E-Track tie-down points to secure items during transit. The 12- and 16-foot containers have a welded steel sub-frame and wide rollers that reduce potential damage to driveways. The units may be stacked two high when indoors on a level surface.
