CT Self Storage Receives Approval for Expansion Project

CT Self Storage has received approval from the Plainville, Conn., Planning and Zoning Commission to add 13,400 square feet to the facility.

The project will include 93 storage units and a structural design element at the end of the building that will be 20 feet high. The self-storage business will also add 11 parking spaces. The facility currently has 700 storage units.

Officials restricted the size of the storage units to no larger than 300 square feet, forcing designers to divide a planned 450-square-foot unit into two separate spaces.
