Self-Storage Entrepreneur Launches UK Business-Consulting Firm

Self-storage entrepreneur Jon Wyles has launched consulting firm Exponential Advisers Ltd. to help U.K. business owners successfully apply growth strategies. Based in Neston, England, the company will focus on finance, marketing, operation and staffing, with other specialties expected to be added in the next few months, according to the source.

Wyles founded Smart Storage, growing the business to six facilities in Northwest England before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and launching Stop and Store, which operates a nine-property portfolio in Canada and the United States.

“During the past 12 years, both in the U.K. and North America, I have amassed a huge amount of knowledge and experience of developing and scaling businesses,” Wyles told the source. “Exponential is all about working with entrepreneurs to enable them to achieve their goals by putting in place the right strategies for accelerated growth. This is about ensuring the best possible structures and processes, robust financial management, cutting-edge marketing and having the right people on board.”

Joining Wyles in the venture is Nick Mason, who owns a marketing and public-relations firm in Neston.
