Masons Self Storage of Wales Supports Local Christmas Festival

Masons Self Storage of South Wales, Wales, donated money to local primary school Ysgol Gymraeg Pen-y-Garth for its Penarth Christmas Festival next week at The Paget Rooms theater. The funds will be used to decorate “Santa’s Grotto,” which will feature designs from local artists Enfys Emlyn and Haf Weighto, according to a source. The storage operator is also supplying materials for a craft day at the school. The children’s artwork will be on display at the holiday celebration.

The Dec. 12 event, 4-7 p.m., is spearheaded by the school’s parent-teacher association (PTA). It’ll include an appearance by Santa Claus, performances from local choirs, and 35 vendors selling crafts, art, food and more. Last year’s festival, the school’s first, drew hundreds of people and raised more than £3,500.

“We’re really grateful to local businesses like Masons Self Storage for their support. The 2019 Gwyl Nadolig is a fantastic opportunity for anyone in Penarth to kick off the festive season in style and start shopping and celebrating in their local community—raising money for a good cause at the same time,” according to a statement from the PTA.

Founded 25 years ago, Masons is family-owned and -operated. In addition to self-storage, it provides mobile storage, removals, moving and packing supplies, and a business lounge.
