Whitebox Real Estate Creates Broker Division to Focus on Self-Storage, RV Parks

Whitebox Real Estate has created a division to specialize in the brokerage of self-storage facilities and RV parks. The group will be led Justin Beck, recently hired as managing director. The team is currently marketing properties for sale in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas, with a 2023 sales goal of $150 million, according to a press release.

“Storage properties and RV parks have come a long way in the last 15 years,” Beck said. “Some of these recreational properties include a game room, lounge and pool. RV parks are really becoming more than just a vacation destination, and sales momentum is trending upward accordingly.”

“This is a high-performing industry and a proven asset class we believe is a perfect tie-in to our business model,” said Grant Pruitt, president and co-founder. “Justin is an industry leader with a history of significant successes. He’s exactly the kind of hard worker we’re looking for, and I’m excited to bring him on to lead this new team.”

Whitebox intends to triple its number of brokers over the next two years and reach 50 employees by 2025. The firm also expects to open offices in new markets, the release stated.

Based in Texas, Whitebox is a full-service commercial real estate firm specializing in construction management, demographic studies, financial analysis, property sales, site selection and more.
