Storage Insurance Brokers (SIB), an independent insurance agency that provides various coverages for self-storage operations nationwide, has rebranded as the Self Storage Division (SSD) under parent company World Insurance Associates LLC (WIA). The change is intended to put greater emphasis WIA, according to a press release.

Founded in 2008 as SIB, SSD will continue to offer self-storage operators a variety of business coverages including workers’ compensation, cyber liability, employment-practices liability, pollution and more. It also offers insurance for rental trucks.

“We are excited about the opportunity to promote self-storage as a cornerstone division of World Insurance,” said Jessica Lamoureux, program manager. “We feel this rebranding will differentiate us in the self-storage industry as specialists backed by a nationally ranked top-100 agency.”

Founded in 2012 and based in Tinton Falls, N.J., WIA is a full-service insurance brokerage offering risk-management, insurance and benefit-consulting services for individuals and businesses. Licensed in all 50 states, it has 53 offices nationwide.
