Janus International Group LLC, a manufacturer of self-storage roll-up doors and building components, has hired Terry Bagley as vice president of business development. Bagley has 14 years of experience in the storage industry including 12 years at self-storage software company Centershift Inc., where he resigned as president and CEO last August.
Bagley is also listed as an owner and partner of Salt Lake City-based Storage Galleria LLC, which provides tenant-appreciation, retention, loyalty and marketing programs to self-storage operators. He joined the company in November 2013, according to his LinkedIn page.
Bagley is a board member for the national Self Storage Association and co-chair of the Utah Technology Council Public Policy Committee. He was a board member at Centershift from 2005 to 2013 and served on the Utah Self Storage Association board from 2007 to 2010. In 2012, Bagley was appointed to a two-year term on the Utah State Board of Education Nominating & Selection Committee, according to a Janus press release.
Prior to entering the self storage industry, Bagley spent nearly 20 years in the technology space in business development, sales, marketing and management for private and publicly traded companies, including 3Com Corp., US Robotics Corp. and Megahertz Corp.
Salt Lake City-based Centershift provides Store Enterprise and Storage Advantage cloud-based management software for self-storage operations.
Janus serves commercial and industrial markets. Headquartered in Temple, Ga., the company has eight U.S. locations as well as manufacturing facilities in Mexico and the United Kingdom. Janus is owned by Saw Mill Capital Partners LP, a New York-based private equity investment fund managed by Saw Mill Capital LLC.
