Storage Business Owners Alliance LLC (SBOA), a buying group for U.S. self-storage operators, has announced the addition of three new alliance partners: Everbrite, OpenTech Alliance Inc. and XPS Solutions. These companies will now offer exclusive discounts to SBOA members, according to a press release.

Everbrite provides a coating for self-storage doors that restores faded metal to its original color and luster. It also creates sunscreen protection for the paint.

OpenTech offers technology solutions for automation, including kiosks, as well as call-center services. Its platform allows self-storage operators to connect with tenants, streamline operations and grow their business, the release stated.

XPS has provided the self-storage industry with call-center and automation solutions for 21 years. It also offers a mobile app that allows tenants to make payments and a pay-by-phone service.

“The SBOA continues to assist our members, self-storage owners and operators, with vendor procurement,” said SBOA Vice President Jessica Johnson. “We carefully vet potential new partners by researching customer reviews, speaking with their current clients, reviewing demonstrations of the products and services, and more. SBOA added four alliance partners last year: Blink Signs, Calcumate, CallPotential and StorageAuctions.com. The company will continue to seek new benefits for its members, according to the release.

Founded in 2010 by Ian Burnstein and David Levenfeld, SBOA negotiates exclusive offers with prominent industry service providers through economies of scale. It has more than 16,000 member facilities.
