MakoRabco, a nationwide supplier of buildings and construction-related services for the self-storage and boat/RV-storage industries, has hired Kate Richards as marketing associate. Her responsibilities include strategizing and executing the company’s marketing initiatives, including the writing and distribution of press releases.

Richards is a recent graduate of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communications, with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She previously worked as a public-relations assistant.

MakoRabco specializes in self-storage and boat/RV-storage building design, supply and installation. The company formed in March when Mako Steel Inc., founded in 1993, and Rabco Enterprises LLC, founded in 1988, joined forces. The company operates from offices in Carlsbad, California, and Winter Garden, Florida.
