OMG Storage Development, a new venture in online unit booking and marketing showcasing for self-storage businesses, has launched an online facility directory at OMGStorage.com. The lead-generating search engine is designed to offer a comparison-shopping experience for self-storage consumers in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. The site displays storage rates and specials in real time and allows the user to book a storage unit or vehicle-storage space online.

To search for space, a self-storage customer enters his city or ZIP code in the search bar and uses filters to arrive at the unit of his choice. The site can be accessed from a desktop computer or mobile device. Site content includes facility photos, videos and blogs. Customers can also communicate and participate in promotions via the companys twitter handle: @OMGstorage, or on its Facebook page.

"The concept was easy," said CEO Victor Dante. "OMGstorage.com is a great domain that has the best of both worlds: The name is short, its something people can remember, and the domain contains the word 'storage' in it."

Dante is the CEO and president of Self Storage Promoter, a network of self-storage search engines that includes OMGStorage.com and USSelfStorageLocator.com. The network includes more than 6,500 self-storage facilities.
