Investment Real Estate LLC (IRE), a property-management and consulting firm serving the self-storage industry, has hired Vicki Hinson as controller. Hinson will be responsible for managing the daily accounting for the Investment Real Estate Group of Cos., including the self-storage facilities operated by its management arm, Investment Real Estate Management LLC. Her responsibilities will also include providing key support and administration in accounts payable, banking and treasury, financial reporting, human resources, and payroll.

Hinson has more than 22 years of accounting experience. In previous roles, she has managed accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, and financial analysis and reporting. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
