Records-Storage Software Provider O'Neil Upgrades RS-SQL Program

ONeil Software, a provider of software solutions for records centers worldwide, recently upgraded its RS-SQL software to Version 4.03. New features include digital-image storage, with the integration of PaperVision Imaging software, and image purging, which allows users to remove images from the record while keeping the record itself. In previous versions, deleting an image meant deleting all related records and activity.

The upgrade means faster speeds and better integration with other software, such as billing, according to a press release issued by the company.

"Even the largest record center cannot compete if it is slow to change with the times," said Ian Thomas, executive vice president. "All too often, it is the very technology they rely on to improve efficiency that keeps them from moving at the speed of 21st century business. Thats why we are continually upgrading our existing product line.

ONeil serves more than 1,000 records centers in more than 80 countries, ranging from start-ups to multi-national companies. In addition to software, the company specializes in barcode tracking, portable printers, wireless handhelds and Web technology.
