Yardi to Introduce Cloud-Based Self-Storage Management Platform

Yardi Systems Inc., which provides management software for various types of commercial real estate, will introduce a new cloud-based platform for self-storage facilities next month. Yardi Storage Manager is designed for institutional companies with complex accounting and operational needs, according to a press release.

The new product offers custom reporting, management and marketing tools, and online leasing. It also contains optional add-ons for acquisitions, construction, financial forecasting, investment management and tenant insurance.

Additional features include real-time business insights to help self-storage operators track tasks such as auctions, facility maintenance and rental rates. Marketing tools include search engine optimization and website design. Yardi Storage Manager also provides email templates for tenant communications.

Yardi Systems develops and supports software for commercial-property management. Its suite of programs handles accounting, ancillary processes, operations and services. Based in Santa Barbara, California, and founded in 1984, the company serves clients worldwide from offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
