White Label Storage, which offers third-party management and other services to the self-storage industry, has released a QuickLink Collections delinquency solution as part of its tenant-communications platform. The new tool searches a self-storage operator’s tenant database, identifies delinquent accounts and sends follow-up emails to those customers with a request for payment, according to a press release.

The program is designed to resemble an e-commerce experience by providing a link that allows past-due customers to enter their payment details and settle their account within a few clicks. The user doesn’t even need to sign into their account to complete the task.

“We’re focused on making owners’ lives easier and helping their businesses run better. Technology is a fundamental part of how we make that mission a reality,” said cofounder Peter Smyth. “This combination of automation and improved payment experience can help facilities recover more delinquent revenue, avoid going to auction and maintain occupancy levels.”

In addition to third-party management, White Label provides an in-house call center as well as marketing and revenue-management services. It was cofounded by Smyth and Alex Hartman, who launched Local Locker Storage in 2018, now with more than 50 locations nationwide.
