UneeX, a provider of workplace technology, launched Unifi, a new SaaS (software-as-a-service) platform intended to help self-storage operators streamline their business and improve productivity. It includes a suite of tools to help users lower costs while improving customer engagement, according to a press release.
Unifi aims to address some of the self-storage industry’s biggest operational challenges, according to president Darrell Briggs. “We went to great lengths to develop a product that doesn’t require a large IT [information technology] team to operate. It’s easy to deploy [and] use, and highly impactful for operators of all sizes,” he said.
Using Unifi, self-storage operators can expect to address rising labor costs, recover lost wages, improve communication, update store and contact-center operations, and standardize store branding and customer experiences, the release stated.
“Since we installed Unifi over a year ago, we have seen significant improvements across all of our stores and sales-center operations. Our workforce is empowered, and our operations team is made aware of business impacting issues immediately,” said Jennifer Martinez, vice president of operations for Self Storage Plus, which operates 75 facilities in Florida, Maryland, North Carolina Virginia, Washington D.C. and West Virginia.
The Unifi licensing model is designed to scale with a self-storage operation. It’s easy to set up in a matter of hours, according to the release.
Based in Tredyffrin, Pennsylvania, UneeX is a software company that develops cloud-native user-interface and user-experience solutions for a variety of industries.
