Stora, a provider of management software for the self-storage industry, has introduced Stora Pay, an integrated payment-processing solution. Self-storage operators who use it will save up to 50% on processing fees, according to a press release.

Stora Pay will be available to any new users of the company’s management software beginning Oct. 1. The tool will be set up automatically during the onboarding process. It works with Stripe, a payment-processing platform that supports popular global payment methods. When a self-storage operator signs up for Stora Pay, they’ll be invited to create an account with Stripe, which triggers activation. They’ll also have access to the Stripe mobile app, which can be connected to their Stora account.

Stora Pay isn’t yet available to self-storage operators who are already using Stora management software. The company hopes to release an update in the next three to four months. Additional payment-processing discounts are also expected in the future, the release stated.

Stora has customers in Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. The company was founded by Gavin Shields, who also owns StoreStuff, which operates self-storage facilities in Dungannon and Portadown, Northern Ireland.
