Self-Storage Supplier Janus International Acquires Terminal Maintenance and Construction

Janus International Group, a global manufacturer and supplier of building solutions and access-control technology for the self-storage industry, has acquired Terminal Maintenance and Construction (TMC), a provider of terminal-maintenance services for the trucking industry. The purchase is intended to support the growth of Janus’ Facilitate Division, which offers property-maintenance services for self-storage operators, according to a press release.
Headquartered in Madison, Georgia, TMC provides terminal renovation, remodeling and maintenance services to major trucking customers in the Southeast.
“We’re very excited to have TMC join the Janus family and are thrilled about the additional innovative solutions that we’ll be providing to our customers in both the storage and commercial spaces we serve,” said Janus CEO Ramey Jackson. “Merging TMC’s team and capabilities with Janus’ well-established project-management platform will strengthen our ability to deliver full maintenance services, which we believe will help bolster our strategic growth plan.”

Headquartered in Temple, Georgia, and founded in 2002, Janus is a global manufacturer and supplier of turnkey commercial, industrial and self-storage building solutions including roll-up and swing doors, hallway systems, relocatable storage units, and facility- and door-automation technologies. The company operates out of several U.S. locations and seven international offices.
