Self-Storage Software Provider Storage Commander Launches New Marketing Platform, Partners With College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving

Storage Commander, a provider of management software for the self-storage industry, is getting ready to launch a new marketing platform and will partner with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving to help generate more sales leads for its product users. Storage operators who sign up for the new platform will be able to offer space to Hunks customers. They’ll also be able to offer moving and junk-removal services to their tenants. The new alliance goes into effect in the fourth quarter, according to a source.

“Our goal with this partnership is to create a win-win situation for both Storage Commander users and College Hunks franchisees,” said Steve Smith, president of Storage Commander. “By integrating our marketing efforts, we are helping our customers fill more [self-storage] units and providing valuable services that can enhance the overall customer experience.”

The partnership will also enhance exposure and profitability for College Hunks franchisees by promoting them to self-storage users, the source stated. “Joining forces with Storage Commander gives us the ability to introduce our services to a wider audience and create more opportunities for our franchise partners,” said Omar Soliman, cofounder of College Hunks. “We’re excited about the possibilities this collaboration will bring as we continue to expand our footprint and reach more customers nationwide.”

College Hunks provides full-service, tech-enabled residential and commercial moving services through 200-plus franchisees in Canada and the United States. The company also offers junk removal, donation pickups and moving labor.

Headquartered in Temecula, California, Storage Commander offers cloud-based management software and pay-merchant services for self-storage operations. Its suite of products integrates property-management software, payment processing, tenant insurance and custom websites.
