Self-Storage Security Firm StorageDefender Launches +VisualVerify Brand

StorageDefender Inc., a provider of smart-technology solutions for the self-storage industry, has introduced a new brand called +VisualVerify that’ll serve as the umbrella for upcoming products including new security cameras and video capabilities. It comprises other parts of the company’s deployed-solution infrastructure, including the third generation of its centralized Web Management Portal, a smart-software platform that was released last month, according to a press release.

The new brand is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its Smart Unit and Smart Zone sensor offerings by incorporating and managing image-capture sensors and cameras for various self-storage applications. StorageDefender continues to enhance its product’s functionality and features to support properties that are transitioning to operate with fewer staff or become fully remote, the release stated.

“Our mission has always been to enhance the tenant experience while offering owners new revenue streams,” said CEO Mark Cieri. “Through collaboration with our partners, we’ve gained invaluable feedback that has shaped our solutions. +VisualVerify may be a new brand, but it embodies years of detailed work and collaboration across our space. Launched in 2018 and based in Denton, Texas, StorageDefender offers a subscription-based, unit-monitoring service for self-storage operations that’s built on an Internet of Things platform. It provides reporting and notification capabilities.
